About
Built by the people who had to live with the last transformation.
Aegis was founded by a former general counsel, an enterprise architect and a legal operations leader who had each inherited a technology estate somebody else designed.
Our position
Independent, and structured to stay that way.
The legal technology market is crowded with advisors who hold reseller agreements, referral arrangements or implementation partnerships with the platforms they recommend. Those relationships are rarely disclosed and always material.
Aegis holds none. We are compensated solely by our clients. That constraint costs us revenue and buys us the only thing that matters in an advisory relationship: a recommendation you can rely on.
Contract value under managed lifecycle programmes
Median reduction in contract turnaround time
Enterprise legal transformation engagements
Reportable security incidents across deployments

Operating principles
Four rules we do not trade away.
Evidence before opinion
Every recommendation traces to measured cycle time, effort, spend or exposure. If we cannot measure it, we say so.
Fewer, better systems
Consolidation beats accumulation. The goal is one trustworthy record, not a broader portfolio.
Design for the audit
Assume the deployment will be examined by a regulator, an auditor and opposing counsel. Document accordingly.
Adoption is the deliverable
A live system nobody uses is a failed programme with a successful launch date.
Why clients choose us
Four differences that show up in the work.
Technology-neutral by policy
No reseller agreements, no referral fees, no implementation partnerships. Our recommendation has no commercial dependency.
We implement what we recommend
Strategy without delivery is a document. Our teams stay through configuration, integration, security review and adoption.
Legal fluency, not adjacency
Former general counsel, legal operations leaders and enterprise architects. We do not need legal workflows explained to us.
Security as first constraint
Control mapping begins at design, not at the final approval gate. Deployments arrive at security review already evidenced.

Next step
Begin with a diagnostic, not a pitch.
A three-week assessment of your legal technology estate, quantified against peer benchmarks — delivered as a roadmap your executive committee can approve.
